When you sponsor a pen, you’ll receive a dedicated welcome pack alongside regular updates and photos from the different cats that call it home during their time at Cats Protection. 
You won’t be just supporting one cat, by sponsoring a pen, you’ll be making a difference to countless cats and kittens in our care.
You can even watch them purr, pounce and play with live webcams from inside the sponsor pen.
Though our sponsor pens are located across the country your support will help cats where they need it most, from just £1.38 a week.

Mel
Mel

Tortoiseshell Mel was sadly abandoned by her owners. She was then given up by some neighbours that took her in, when they found out she was pregnant. She arrived in our care with five kittens, who are now receiving all the care they need. Mel's a particularly friendly girl who adores being brushed and having her ears stroked. She's also a relaxed and confident cat, who is a great mum to her kittens. We can’t wait for Mel to find her forever home once she’s ready.

Bailey

We’d like to introduce Bailey, a shy but loving girl who was quite nervous when she first arrived at Cats Protection. We don’t know much about her past, but since being in our care Bailey has started to show signs of affection and trust with the team at Belfast Adoption Centre. She really likes cardboard boxes and catnip, and definitely feels most secure when she’s snuggled up in her cosy bed cave. As Bailey is a little timid, she would really benefit from a loving owner who can dedicate lots of time and care so she can gradually come out of her shell. When Bailey starts feeling comfortable, she really enjoys having her cheeks scratched!

Oreo
Oreo

Introducing Oreo, a super sweet boy who came to Cats Protection when a newborn baby in his family caused him to become a little bit stressed. Oreo is now one happy cat who really likes a good fuss and playing with all of his toys, particularly ones he can chase! When he arrived in our care, Oreo suffered with some fur loss which we think was due to an allergy, but this has now grown back fully. He’d really like his forever home to have no young children in and also be somewhere that’s calm and quiet. Some outdoor space would also be beneficial so Oreo can burn off some of his bouncing energy!

Teddy and Bear
Teddy and Bear

Teddy and Bear are an adorable pair of felines who came to Cats Protection when their owners sadly separated. These two cats are bonded sweethearts. They adore snuggling and nuzzling up to one another in their cosy donut bed. They’re also quite mischievous, and are always showing off to the camera or trying to escape their pen! Teddy and Bear are both nearly a year old, full of life and fun and have a clean bill of health. They would love to find a new home soon so they can run around outdoors and then cuddle up with a new family.

Marble

Marvellous Marble is a senior gent who came to Cats Protection when he wasn’t happy sharing his home with a new dog. Marble’s a handsome boy with a sweet and gentle nature. He loves a fuss, a spot of light grooming, playing with his toys and exploring. This charmer’s certainly got a lot of love to give so we hope he'll be curling up with a new family soon.

Max

This is Max, a big, friendly seven-year-old boy who came into our care recently due to changes in his owner’s work circumstances. Max was a little bit unsettled when he first arrived at Cats Protection, but after some routine checks he moved into his pen where he’s feeling so much more comfortable. So much so that Max greets the team at Glasgow Adoption Centre every day with his sweet, friendly face and affectionate nature. Max adores a cuddle, so we hope it doesn't take him too long to find a loving new family.

Become a Cats Protection sponsor and we’ll keep you updated on every cat you’re helping.

Here’s what you’ll receive:

  • a dedicated sponsorship welcome pack including a postcard of the current cat in your pen and a folder to keep the postcards safe, a personalised certificate plus a window sticker
  • three postal newsletters a year updating you on how you’re helping cats in our care, including a postcard of the current cat in your sponsor pen
  • regular email updates about how your pen resident is getting on, when they find a new home and new arrivals to your pen (if you opt in to receiving these)
  • an online portal to see your latest pen resident and watch them on our new live stream. You can also look back at all the cats you’ve already helped

Simon's Cat supports Cats Protection Sponsorship

In celebration of our special relationship, Cats Protection has teamed up with Simon’s Cat! They love our cat sponsorship scheme so much that they have decided to support all of our Cat Sponsorship pens by giving them a Simon's Cat style makeover. Cats Protection is delighted to work with Simon’s Cat and we thank them for their support.

Who is Simon's Cat?

Simon’s Cat is a loveable, charming, yet mischievous cat that lives with his long suffering owner – Simon. Simon’s Cat made his first appearance online, in a film called Cat Man Do in 2008, made by animator and illustrator, Simon Tofield. Since then this well-known feline has appeared in over 100 short films, books, games and comic strips to name a few.
