Adopt a cat

If you would like to find out about any of the rescued cats we have in our care and you live in our area, please contact us for more details - 01579 382794 (10am - 5:30pm) or use the Contact us form.  Details & photos of cats we have for homing are found at the bottom of this page.

It is Cat Protection policy to carry out home visits on every potential owner, before we home the cats in our care.  This is so we can ensure we find the right cat for each applicant and their families life-style.  We sometimes have indoor cats that need specific homes, if you are interested, then please contact us for more information or advice.

Cats Protection asks adopters for a fee when rehoming a cat.  If you feel able to make a donation on top of the fee that would, of course, be gratefully received.  We know times are hard so thank you for your decision to rehome a CP cat!  Each cat can cost us in the region of £150 before they are ready to be rehomed.  Any donations you may give us on top of the adoption fee, enables us to continue our work by helping other needy cats waiting to come into our care.

All our cats & kittens receive the following veterinary treatment whilst in our care - which meets the minimum veterinary standards required.

A full health check on coming into care and are seen by our vet on at least 2 or 3 more occasions, before being home
Treated for worms and fleas on entry and on a monthly basis whilst in our care
Fully Vaccinated
Microchipped
All our cats over the age of 5 months are neutered before leaving our care
All or cats & kittens are homed with 4 weeks FREE pet insurance

Cats Protection asks adopters for an Adoption Fee when rehoming a cat.  If you feel you are able to make a donation on top of the fee that would, of course, be gratefully received.  We know times are hard so thank you for your decision to rehome a CP cat!
