YOU CAN ALSO HELP US...

VOLUNTEERS WANTED-
We are always looking to take on new volunteers to help us with various jobs within the branch.  We are presently in need of people willing to foster for us as well as people prepared to help with the fundraising.  More information about these roles are below, so please read on...

FOSTER CARERS WANTED-
Foster Carers are requred by the branch to care for the cats awaiting homes, at the moment we have two foster carers and we are looking for more people prepared to help us with this extremely rewarding job.  We are occasionally in need of people to have kittens in a 'kitten cage' to socialise and prepare them before we rehome them to their new families, in particular if they have come into our care at a young age without their mum.  This is a very important role, as we need them to be aware of simple household noises, like the TV, radio, doorbell, phone ringing, washing machine etc.  Oassionally we may have a cat that requires nursing back to health after an operateion.  These roles would suit anyone who is at home during the day or possibly working part time and has a genuine desire to help cats.  If applicants are suited to fostering and want to become permanent foster carers, we are able to supply purpose built pens which are erected in the foster carers garden and the cats would live temporarily in them prior to being placed in their new forever home.  The branch will meet all associated costs and provide cat food, litter and any other equipment required.  Please see our News Page articles on Fostering.

FUNDRAISING-
The Callington Branch raise our funds by organising and running fund raising events.  We always welcome new volunteers to help with our fundraising.  The more people we have, helps us to spread the workload and makes it possible for the branch to hold more events.  Without our regular events bringing us in a constant source of income, we could not help the volume of cats that we are able to at this present time.

FUNDRAISING SUPPORT-
We are looking for people like you, to help organise our wide and varied calendar of fundraising events.  Do you have a flair for fundraising and good at organising?  Do you enjoy meeting people?  As we are self-funding, our fundraising activities are of vital importance to let us carry on cat welfare work.  Perhaps you can use your skills to make items for our craft stalls at our fundrasing events.  Even if you can only spare a couple of hours a week, it makes an enormous difference to us and of course the cats in our care.  If you would like to join our active fundraising team, please don't hesitate to contact me on: 01579 382794 (10am-5:30pm)

If you are interested in finding out more about any of the above roles, then please contact me to ask any questions on: 01579 382794 (10am - 5:30pm) - please be mindful that you are phoning a volunteers home and if possible only phone between 10am - 5:30pm, please.
