Ways in which you can support Callington Branch...
ITEMS NEEDED TO SELL ON OUR STALLS-
We need a regular supply of goods to sell on our stalls. We can take any of the following if clean and in good condition:- bric-a-brac; jewelery; unwanted gifts; new toiletries/cosmetics; kitchenware; books, records, CD's, DVD's; jig-saw puzzles; toys & games; craft work and knitted goods. All these items help us raise funds. If you can help by donating clean, saleable items, please contact: 01579 382794 (10am - 5:30pm) for more details.
BECOME A CALLINGTON BRANCH MEMBER-
A very good way to support our branch is to become a branch member, the subscription is £2.50 per year and for this you will receive copies of our regular branch newsletters, keeping you informed of the work we are doing in the local area, also notifying you of all the local events we will be attending as well as information on the cats we have in care looking for homes. We welcome stories from our members which we print as and when room allows us to do so. Please contact us for a membership form. If you are a UK tax payer please ask us for a Gift Aid form this enables us to claim back 28p in the pound, tax, from your subscription fee.
CAT CABIN SPONSORSHIP-
For as little as £4 a month you could sponsor one of the Callington branch Cat Pens. We already have a small number of members who pay a monthly sum to assist with the expense of looking after cats in our care. The monies received go towards cat food, litter and veterinary expenses which can be considerable. Ideally, the branch would like to recruit more sponsors to donate, by direct debit, a monthly sum of between £4 - £10.
2nd CLASS POSTAGE STAMPS-
We are always very grateful for any NEW 2nd class postage stamps we are sent, as these help with the cost of posting out our branch newsletters and other administrative letters. Please send your donations of new stamps to: 24 Beech Road, Callington, Cornwall. PL17 7JA. This is not an address where our foster cats are kept.
SAVE YOUR 'USED' STAMPS & POSTAGE CARDS-
We are asking you to save your used stamps from the UK and abroad. We can use these stamps to raise funds to benefit the many cats and kittens that need our help throughout the year. We also accept other items such as old postcards, cigarette cards, stamps albums/ old collections, tea cards, old advertisements, First Day Covers, stamp presentation packs, stamp booklets (complete with stamps), old used envelopes, old greeting cards (pre-1950's), any used stamps/ envelope from abroad, any postal history items and so on.
