2012 updates from our treasurer:
  • TESCO TIN SHAKE held on 18th & 19th January 2012 raised £195-69. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed.
  • A huge thank you to everyone who entered the Christmas Raffle draw. £1170.30 was raised in all, £646.40 from the sale of raffle tickets and £523.90 from accompanying donations. If you would like to gift aid your donations and haven't been contacted about this, please contact the branch, for the attention of the Treasurer, and a gift aid form will be sent to you.
2011 Updates from our Treasurer:
  • A big thank you to everyone who supported and helped out at the Mill Road Winter Fair where we raised £570 for funds.
  • Thanks to the generous support of our supporters at our Christmas Bazaar on 19th November, we raised a super £1121.42 to help needy cats in our area.
  • From entry fees and donations to our Catsnaps photographic competition we raised £145. Thank you to all who entered and to Village Vet Longstanton for helping judge.
  • At our Tin Shake at Tesco Bar Hill on 24th September, thanks to the generosity of shoppers we raised £297.67.
  • At our Summer Garden Fete on 27th August we raised the fantastic sum of £1113.25. Thank you very much to all of our supporters who came to support our event.
  • Many thanks to everyone who visited our stall at the Open Day at Village Vet Milton where we raised £25.30.
  • A big thank you to everyone who supported Cambridge Cats Protection at Histon Feast on 9th July. We raised £162.59.
  • Thanks to the generosity of supporters who visited our stall at the Fen Edge Family Festival on 25th June, we raised the princely sum of £125.24.
  • A total of £117-50 was raised during the recruitment campaign in front of the Guildhall, Cambridge on 25th June.
  • Thanks to the loyalty and generosity of our supporters at our Christmas Bazaar 2010 we managed to raise £905.18. Well done to everyone involved.
  • A HUGE thank you to everyone who entered the Cats Christmas Dinner Draw 2010: £1209 was raised in all; £734 from ticket sales and £475 from accompanying donations. Due to the large response we have been unable to thank each donor individually. If you would like to Gift Aid your donation and have not been contacted, please do get in touch and a gift aid form will be sent to you.
  • Our ever-popular Kit-E-Cash initiative raised a super £1237 for our funds during 2010. A big thank you, once again, to Ann & Dick for all their hard work managing the subscriptions. Full details on how to subscribe here.
  • Recycle your old mobile and raise money for cats! For every phone donated our branch receives £2.50. In 2010 we received nearly £40 from this scheme. If you would like to donate your old phone please contact us and our Treasurer will send you a Freepost envelope.
