If you have lost or found a cat in our area, please notify us by calling 01245 478389 or email us at chelmsford@cats.org.uk with as much of the following information as possible:-
- Your name, full address and telephone number(s) (for our records only)
- The cat's name, colour, age, breed and whether short or long haired
- A photo of the cat if possible
- The cat's sex and whether neutered or not
- If the cat is/was microchipped if it is/was wearing a collar - please include a description
- The date and place the cat was lost or found
In addition to contacting us, please remember to also do the following:-
- Always thoroughly search your house, garden & outbuildings and ask neighbours to do the same
- Advertise - put posters up & leaflet drop door to door in your area
- Contact not only your vet and those in the local area but also those further afield - someone is more likely to take a cat to a vet they know, rather than to one which is closest to where a cat is found
- Contact other local charities & welfare organisations
Please remember that the earlier you report your cat missing, the better the chances are of finding him or her again.

FOUND! Little Grey is now home after missing for nearly two months. He has been reunited with his owner who is over the moon to have him back, poor Little Grey has lost weight but otherwise ok. A happy ending for this little chap.
