How you can help

Most people would put their animals only second in importance to their family, but not everyone feels that way.  Unfortunately Jimmy's owners didn't.  When their house was repossessed, the family moved out and deliberately left Jimmy behind to fend for himself.

It must have been extremely hard for the family to lose their home, but they had each other and would be offered help.  Jimmy had no one and to begin with no one to help him.  He stayed around his old home and fortunately a neighbour took pity on him and started to feed him.  He was still living rough and so she contacted Cherwell Cats Protection to see if they could find him a new and this time, loving home.

That was in June 2011 and Jimmy is still with a fosterer, living in a cat cabin.  Although he has warmth, shelter, food and loving from his fosterer, he hates being penned in and longs for a real home with a garden and a loving family. He is very independent and would need time to get used to being one of a family again and would be unable to cope with young children.

He is a beautiful black cat who looks like a miniature Panther and he longs for love and affection and a home to call his own.

If you know you could give Jimmy that special home, please call Pat on 07716 596212 and come and meet him.  I know he is waiting for your call!
