Cats Protection cat achieves show winning status

Hi Colwyn Cats! I’m the Coordinator for Luton, Dunstable & District CP. Just thought I’d drop you an email to let you know about a success story from a cat that was re-homed from your branch a while back. Last Saturday 25th June, I attended the Burmese cat club show in Flitwick for a publicity and fundraising event on behalf of my branch. I got speaking to a lady, Mrs Pina Meakin who was showing her cat a beautiful calico/tortie girl now called Bella Rosa, in the household pet section of the show. Mrs Meakin spoke very highly of your branch indeed. She said Bella Rosa’s fosterer was called Caryl and how lucky she was to get her. Bella Rosa has matured into a beautiful affectionate little cat and by the end of the show Bella Rosa had a whole row of rosettes attached to her pen, she did very well and she is such a lovely affectionate little cat. I did take a couple of photo’s of Bella Rosa and her rosettes as it’s nice to see a CP rescue cat do so well, a kind of rags to riches story I guess you could say.
