Will are holding a CAT PHOTOGRAPH competition and it will be judged at the Grand Opening of our new facilities on Sat 24th March 2012 at Dereham Adoption Centre.

Note: - Please do not bring your cats just their photographs.

Any cat is eligible, it does not have to be a rescue or pedigree cat or kitten and the competition is open to all cat owners, employees of Cats Protection or their families are not eligible to enter.
You can enter as many photos as you like providing the correct entry fee is enclosed and stating which category to be entered in. No owner’s details will be attached to the pictures so that the judging will be totally anonymous.

Categories:-

(1) Best Rescue  (2) Old Timer   (3) Kitten  (4) Group (5) Still/Action Shot  (6) Funny/Amusing (7) Under 16's

Unfortunately no photos can be returned after the event unless a stamped addressed envelope is supplied with your entry.

Entry fee is 50p per photo  -  Prize given for each categorie and overall winner has their photo put in our new vet room.
***** RULES *****

(1)    Each photograph to be of only one cat or kitten unless entered as a group photo.

(2)    Photographs to be no smaller than 6” x 4” (15Cm x 10Cm) and no larger than A5 size.
        
(3)    Cheques to be made payable to Friends of Dereham Adoption Centre. Please ensure that with each photo, if entering more than one, that the subject is identified for office use.

(4)    Copyright of all photos will remain with the photographer but by signing the declaration(s) the Photographer allows The Friends of Dereham and/or The Dereham Adoption Centre to reproduce such photographs without further permissions or payment on the website or in newsletters.

(5)    All submissions must be the entrants own original work and must not infringe the rights of any other party.

(6)    Entrants must ensure that images submitted have been taken with the permission of any person/persons featured within it. Where the subject is under 16, consent must be obtained from their parent or guardians. If the cat or kitten is not your own please obtain the owner’s permission.

(7)    No laws should have been breached when taking the photograph(s).

(8)    Entrants under 16 need their parent or guardian to sign the form, proof of age may be required.

(9)    Entries by email are accepted but will only be entered once the entry fee has been received.
