If you love cats, have some spare time and want to help make a difference please think about volunteering with us.
We need
- fundraisers - we have a small friendly team and have fun while raising much needed funds for the branch's work. If you want to help with our existing fundraising work or have ideas of your own for making money, please get in touch.
- drivers - drivers need to be able to volunteer during the day as it will involve taking cats to vet appointments or transporting cats, food and litter to fosterers.
- fosterers - fosterers will initially need to look after cats in a separate room to their own cats. We work to high standards of welfare. Once we know it's for you we could invest in a purpose built cat pen in your garden. The work is incredibly rewarding.
- feral trappers and feeders - we trap feral cats, neuter and return them to their site in order to curtail their numbers and reduce the numbers of unwanted kittens. We also support and feed a small number of feral colonies in the area. If you can help with trapping or feeding please get in touch.
