Music Magpie

Music Magpie logoHelp Cats Protection by Recycling your old CD’s, DVD’s and Computer Games

We've teamed up with Music Magpie to offer you an easy way to recycle your old CDs, DVDs and Computer Games and help raise vital funds for Cats Protection!

This is a great way to turn those unwanted CDs, DVD’s and Computer Games in your home into funds to help the charity. Simply call Music Magpie on 08702 957 930 and tell them that you want to support Cats Protection and ask for a free collection box.

Once you have filled a box (or collected 100 items minimum) with CDs, DVDs, or Computer Games, then call the number on the outside of the box for a free collection, it could not be easier. Music Magpie has agreed to pay us 50p for every CD, DVD and Computer Game that meets their criteria below:

Terms and conditions

1. The disk must be in a case and it must be the right disk for the case.
2. The disk must not be a copy or a pirate disk - we take this issue very seriously and reserve the right to take further action on this matter.
3. We do not accept free giveaways from newspapers or other promotional DVD/CDs.
4. The disk must not be cracked or have dents, deep scratches or other serious damage to it - light surface scratches are usually accepted.
5. All the original packaging must be present (including artwork and booklet where relevant).
6. The packaging must be in good condition. Cases may have light scratches, but booklets and artwork need to be free from tears, stickers and other major blemishes.
7. Music Magpie only collect CD Albums & DVDs - No video's, vinyl, PC software or tapes

Please note - CDs and DVDs not sent correctly cannot be returned

Please click on the link below and have a look at the ‘Dos and Don’ts’ which contains more information about what can and cannot be recycled.

If you do have any questions please contact fundraising@cats.org.uk

Happy recycling!
