There a lots of opportunities for volunteers to help at our charity shop that is situated just round the corner from T J Hughes in Seaside Road, Eastbourne. Some of the various jobs that we need extra help with range from serving on the till, dealing with customers, sorting out donated stock, making sure the shop is clean and tidy, merchandising and stock rotation.

"We are a very friendly bunch here so you would be more than welcome and we would love to hear from anyone that feels they can spare a few hours a week on a regular basis." said Roz Murray Deputy Manager, " We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers that feel they would like to donate some of their time to a worthwhile charity. "

FRIENDS OF EASTBOURNE ADOPTION CENTRE

The Friends of Eastbourne Adoption Centre are a small committee who's two goals are to actively fundraise increasing monies to help pay for items that the Eastbourne Adoption Centre may need whether that be a quantity of cat litter, food or some new cat beds etc. The Friends have managed to raise enough funds to build  a new maternity 6 pen block which has just been completed and there are plenty of other projects that the Friends of would like to in the future. The other goal the Friends of have is to increase awareness of Cats Protection in the Eastbourne area so that people know where to go if they need help, advice and information on adoption a cat or kitten. There are lots of ways to fundraise and I am sure there are lots of activities that we have not thought about as yet so if you are interested in helping us out or just want to pass on any good fundraising ideas that you may have then please contact us at any time. We couldn't work without the amazing volunteers the Friends of group has, they really are wonderful and always ready and eager to come out on a windy day and hold a bucket or man a stall at one of our events. If it wasn't for these devoted people  we would not be able to carry on our valuable work. If you would like to volunteer with any fundraising activities whether it be helping with a bucket collection or help organise an event
