What we do

The Ludlow and District branch was started in 1986 and has been busy looking after cats and kittens in the area ever since.

The Branch runs a busy shop in the centre of Ludlow which raises much-needed funds to look after the cats in our care.

You can find the shop in Old Street,  Do come and visit us if you are visiting Ludlow.   You can see exactly where we are by looking on StreetMap for the postcode SY8 1NW or by following this link.

We have now moved back to our newly refurbished premises in Old Street .

We also may under certain circumstances help with the cost of neutering cats,

We have a lost and found register and re-home many cats each year.  We have around 6 fosterers who are always very busy caring for the cats and kittens before they are rehomed.

We are a small branch and most of our volunteers help to run the shop. If you would like to join us then please use the Contact Us link or call 01584 873363

You can also visit the Cats Protection shop at www.catsprotectionshop.co.uk to see gifts that are availible to buy online.

If you live in the Shrewsbury  area of Shropshire, then due to the temp closure of the cats protection centres in that area we advise you to contact the shropshire cat rescue site at www.shropshirecatrescue.co.uk  or phone 01743 872857 or 01691 829337/831262  as they have lots of cats.
