SUCCESSFUL RE-HOMING
These are success stories about cats that we have re-homed this year – would you like to tell us about the cat or kitten you re-homed from us? I’m sure that everyone would love to hear about how they have settled in their new homes. Please get in touch.
PETROL (Previously Sparky) Petrol's owner reports that he is a lovely cat, very affectionate, loves to play and all of the family adore him. Petrol is in the photo above.
BETTY & ERNIE – their owner reports that they are fabulous kittens, very affectionate, full of fun, very healthy and growing fast. They have brought much fun and happiness to their new home.
RUBY – I want to say thank you to Cats Protection for finding me a special new owner/servant. To help me settle in, I was allowed to sleep on the bed for the first night I arrived home. I soon made it quite clear that it needed to be a permanent arrangement. I have a wonderful scratching post and I am using it to train for the next Cat Olympics/Abseiling Championships.
TOBY – was a little tabby when he was adopted. He is now a very cheeky bigger tabby. He has settled well in his new home much to the delight of his new owners. He and his dog buddy cuddle up together in the dog’s basket and he even gives the dog a clean. He has cat friend too and plays with her every day although he gives the older cat a wide berth – what a wise boy.
JASMINE & MARLEY – are both very well-loved and have the most expensive toys although they prefer to play with a feather. They also have a state of the art microchip identifying cat flap but they don’t need to use it very much as they have 2 doting owners who will open the door for them.
MILO – is absolutely delightful and has a wonderful nature. His new owners can’t help but spoil him.
ERNIE (Previously Pepe) – is an intelligent, super-smart young cat who loves to play with all of his toys taking his favourite fishing rod in and out of the cat flap. He is a challenge but beautiful and much adored.
GEORGE (Previously Pluto) is an absolute delight who either sleeps with his new owners or in the under bed drawers where he snores. He has a mad time playing with his toys and then collapses on his owners for a cuddle. He is very comical when he jumps on them as he has a look of horror as if to say “Oh gosh – humans what am I doing” He then dashes off but soon returns for a cuddle from his very amused owners.
LOLA (Previously Prudence) is doing very well in her new home and is getting on with and playing with the resident cat. She purrs and likes strokes but is not too keen to be picked up yet but it is early days.
