Thinking of adopting a cat or a kitten from the branch? 

We home visit all prospective homes for our cats and kittens.  This gives you the opportunity to ask as many questions as you need, and for you to find out more about adopting a cat or kitten from Cats Protection.

When considering giving a home to a cat or cats, please consider that it is a commitment to a living creature and is a responsibility for the next 10 - 20 years.  We try hard to home cats bases on their needs where they will be cared for their lifetime.  We appreciate that each of us have circumstances and lifestyles which can change over time which is why some cats come into branch care and that is why we ask to think carefully about why you want a cat.

All cats that we rehome have been vet checked, blood tested, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, de-flead, wormed and have passed their health check prior to being a new home. All cats and kittens also come with 4 weeks complimentary pet insurance with Pet Plan. This insurance can be renewed with Pet Plan after this period for any cat or kitten homed, regardless of their age.

The expense of treating each cat with the above often amounts to approximately £160 per cat plus the cost of the day to day expenses such as food and litter.

Our adoption fee per cat or kitten is £50, however we do appreciate additional donations.
