Badger
Hi all I just wanted to say a big thank you for helping me get Badger, he is awesome! He's very happy and has settled in well. Kindest regards
Bubbles
Dear North London Cats Protection staff,
Just wanted to let you know that Bubbles has settled in really well (some might say "too" well?!?) at our home. He has started to go out in the back garden and loving every minutes of it!
I have attached a few photos for you to have a little chuckles
Gizmo & Row
We were sent this beautiful photo from Gizmo and Row's new owners. They have settled into their new home very well and having lots of fun!
Suzy
Hi All, We wanted to show you how Sooz (what we now call her) has come along since we adopted her in June/Jul. Her hair has grown back loads and she seems happy enough. She has little exploring moments which sometimes end up with her slipping off something which does make us giggle. Our funniest moments are in the morning when she whacks us in the face to be fed. We love her x
Filip
Hi there
We just wanted to give you an update on our cheeky cat Filip who we adopted 2 months ago from the North London cat's PL. He was the rather large (big boned/overweight!) grey and white tabby who was in foster care for a little while before we met him. He's settled in completely now, and thanks to his special diet has managed to loose some weight! He loves playing with his toys and sunbathing in the garden-when its not too cold, then when he's bored he snuggles on our laps and purrs so loudly we end up having to turn the volume up on the TV!
Thank you so much for letting us adopt him, we can't imagine our lives without him now!!
We have attached some pictures, he loves having his photo taken!
Chestnut &
Ebony
Hi Guys,
About a year ago I adopted Chestnut & Ebony (now peanut). They have both settled in very well. Peanut is is very vocal and every morning and evening gives me a nice welcome although its often demanding food. Chestnut loves to have cuddles and often curls up in odd places such as draws, under the duvet and in places i didn't think she could get in to. They both love going outside and spend most the day outside exploring. They are very fond of moths and chestnut has an obsession with leaves! They get on very well like sisters do, playing, occasionally arguing but they do look out for each other. I hope Scarlett found a lovely home too.
I have attached some photos so you guys can see how much they have grown. We are all very happy together
.
Jelly
Hello all at Cats Protection in Archway,
You may be pleased to hear that Jelly is settling in well in her new home.
She eventually returned to the surface after dissappearing under the floorboards in our kitchen on her first day. It took about 12 hours for her to return to the world and we were mightily relieved when she came out!
Once out, however, she soon became comfortable around us and is now surprisingly affectionate (and eating, peeing and pooing with gusto I should add). We love having her - what a great cat.
My wife and I want to thank you. Great job! Keep up the good work
Tequila
Dear all at Cats Protection in Archway!
We just wanted to share some updates on how our lovely little Tequila is settling into our home.
We are keeping her in the living room, which Georgina has been.
At first she hid in the bottom shelf of the TV unit and stayed there.
She seemed very scared so we put a blanket in there, our pajama tops and tried showing her toys etc, but she wasn't interested and backed off.
We went out for a few hours and came back to find her in the same place.
I rubbed her head (she loves that) and pulled her out (not sure I should do that?) and she was receptive to strokes and cuddles in the sofa and we had some quality time as she purred between me and Alex in the sofa! :o)
After that and the next days followed with her now hiding behind the sofa.
She tried her luck jumping on the computer desk and we firmly said no and took her down a couple of times and she hasn't been since.
On her first night she knocked off a photo frame and an incense box from a very high shelf!
no damage, but she probably got scared as she has avoided the window the photoframe sits..
we left the sheer blind slightly open at the bottom and she likes sitting and sleeping at night now on the cushions on the windowsill looking out "patrolling" :o)
she's been eating and drinking healthly - Alex has given her some chicken yesterday and today because we had some for dinner!
but she understood she wasn't to jump on our table as she was being given her own food!
she didn't use the littler tray for like the first 24 hours, so we worried and read a bit more online and moved it as far from food as possible, then she went! I was so proud and impressed with how tidy she is!
the scratching post arrived on Monday and she seems to like it, though she does her stretches on the sofa - thank God we have a cheap cover on it! yesterday and today I brought the scratching post to the sofa and encouraged her to use it, she seemed to like it, but I guess the couch is easier as it's right there!
lots of hugs from Tequila's new family
Shanx
Hi,
It was good to see you all today and especially to see Mickey who we are really looking forward to adopting. Fingers crossed it won’t be long now!
In the meantime, thought you’d like a picture of Shanx – taken soon after we adopted him! You can see he’s settled in really well.
We’ll pop in again soon to see Mickey.
Thanks and best wishes
