Loving Homes Found

Overall 2011 has been a difficult year so far, although it started off quite well with several of our adult cats being homed in January and February. It all went downhill from then with only three adult cats being homed in the next five months. There were very few enquiries from prospective adopters but a flood of requests to bring cats into our care.

Pregnant cats and cats with kittens took priority for our very limited spaces. We managed to rehome most of the kittens and fortunately things are now looking up for our older cats, five adults have gone to their new homes in a ten day period in early October and we hope this trend continues.

Our major success was the homing of two cats that came to us as kittens from a factory, remained very nervous and shy, and were with us for over a year. At 18 months old that special home came along and they have settled well.

Here are some of the cats that have been adopted so far in 2012.
