Outer Aberdeen Cats Protection Annual Open Day:

As always, every summer we have our Open Day, where we have stalls for people to buy goodies and also to come and admire some of the cats we have currently in our care.

The cats were on top form and the stars of the day, all very interested at what was going on, and showing off for the visitors that came in to see them and give them cuddles. Even the shyer cats were posing for their audience.  Many of them made such an impression that we weredelighted to have several cats reserved on the day, and some of them moved into their new homes very soon afterwards.

Thankfully the rain stayed away and we had no need for wellies and waterproofs, and the sun shone all day. The goods at the home bake stall sold like hot cakes, and the tombola once again was completely cleaned out very quickly.

The total amount raised for the afternoon was the wonderful sum of £625 which will be a huge help for caring for our cats. So a huge thank you to everyone that came along to support us and of course huge thanks to the volunteers who gave up their Sunday to make sure the day was a great success.
