Cats Protection is the Uk's leading feline welfare
charity.

Our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of it's needs. We have simple and clear objectives to help cats:
Homing - finding good homes for cats in need.
Neutering - supporting and encouraging the neutering of cats from 4 months old.
Information - improving people's understanding of cats and their care.
A little bit about us...
Plymouth & South Hams central branch was born at a public meeting organised by HQ in August 2001. A commitee was formed and a fair was organised at the Guildhall to launch the branch in November 2001.We started with 3 fosterers with outside pens and we now have several indoor foster carers and five outdoor foster pens. The group of members has grown over the last decade and we now have many volunteers who help with fundraising, fostering, welfare, rehoming and other tasks. We are always looking for additional volunteers,as sadly volunteers come and go. We are looking particularly for fundraisers and foster carers - although we have something for everyone, so please contact us if you have a little time you can spare.
