Home to Home

This is a facility for those who want to rehome their cats without necessarily having them taken in by Cats Protection first.  If you need to rehome a cat, email us the details, with a photo and a contact number or address, and we will put them up on this page. Those who may be able to offer a cat on this page a home can then contact the owner direct.

Please be aware that the CP is purely an introduction service in these cases, and we cannot accept any responsibility for the health or wellbeing of the cats. We would advise all our potential cat colleagues to have the cat checked out by a vet, and to discuss in depth with the existing cat colleagues any special requirements the cat may have.

Three adult cats in Ollaberry will need a new home no later than this summer as their carer is moving south. They need a quiet country home, as they are unused to traffic, and would also be better suited to a home without young children. There are two tortie females, one of whom could be rehomed on her own and would also be happy as a barn cat. The other two would like to go together if possible; they are a tortie girl and a black and white boy called Boots. He is a sensitive soul who suffered bereavement anxiety on the loss of his previous owner and now follows people around like a dog! Photos below - if you can help, please contact kate.fisher@uk.bp.com

Kind home wanted for stray male cat, neutered and vaccinated. Very affectionate purr machine, a bit nervous of noises. Should preferably be only cat. Tel. Doreen at 01957722260

Freddie is a much loved rescue cat but unfortunately does not get on with his owner's other cat, so needs to be rehomed. Freddie is a lovely 7 year old tabby boy.  He has been neutered and vaccinated and is well house trained. He is very affectionate towards humans. His photo is on the right. If you can give him a home, please contact
an-davidge@hotmail.co.uk

Due to allergy issues at their current home, Nicky and Milly need rehoming, but not
necessarily together; in fact they may be happier apart!. Nicky, on the right,  is a black and white 5-year-old female who has been a mother and still sometimes adopts fluffy socks! She is sweet and loving when in the mood, used to other cats and a dog but not children.

Milly, whose photo is beneath Nicky's, is a small slim black and white 4-year-old. She is very comical, friendly and energetic, has a good appetite but doesn't put on weight. She opens doors by swinging on the handle. Again used to other cats and a dog but not to children.  If you can give Nicky or Milly a home, please contact Davie Henry on Henrydhen14@aol.com
