We at Sleaford Cats Protection are always looking for willing volunteers to assist us with day to day running of the area.  We are getting to be a bigger branch all the time - we now have 7 fosterers, 3 home checkers, and many volunteers who help on a regular basis.  However, we always have room for willing helpers so if you might be interested to learn more about us, please contact us and leave a message on our answering machine, or you can complete the contact below form instead.

Coordinator: As I am sure you can imagine overseeing our Sleaford Branch is a very worthwhile volunteer position, and sadly our present Coordinator has to leave this position due to ill health.  Therefore we are presently looking for someone who is organised, has a good telephone manner, and can deal with CP Head Office together with looking after all our fosterers etc.  Our present Coordinator is more than willing to see someone through the initial phases of taking over from her.  If you are interested could you please ring Karen on 01529 488749 and leave a message with a suitable time for her to get back to you.  Karen has done this job for many years now and is reluctant to leave but would dearly love to pass it into safe hands. This is a part-time position and would take up around 12 hours a week.

Fosterer:  In 2012 we may have need of another fosterer to assist the 7 we already have.  This involves Sleaford CP installing a customised pen with electricity on a base into your garden.  We provide everything you will need to help us look after cats and kittens including food, litter, beds, toys etc, together with reimbursement of out of pocket expenses. However, this is a long term commitment and you will need to have the spare time to feed the cats and/or kittens regularly. 

Fundraising:  If you are interested in helping with fund raising, we would always be pleased to hear from you.  The more fund raisers, the more events we can run to raise badly needed funds.
