NEW ADOPTION FEE PROJECT

** PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**

The National Cat Centre (NCC) has decided to move away from taking a donation when rehoming a cat to a set Adoption Fee. This fee applies to all adoption centres and branches throughout the organisation and will take effect from the 1st October 2010.

There are two main reasons for this. Firstly the VAT they can reclaim and secondly it safeguards their position in relation to tax law.

The Adoption Fee may vary slightly from branch to branch. The South Ayrshire Branch Committee and the Regional Development Manager have agreed on the following Adoption Fees for our branch:

Moggies (over 6 months old) £50

Kittens (under 6 months old) £50

All Pedigrees (with papers) £80

Please remember that your new adopted cat/kitten is:

Fully health checked
Neutered (also applies to kittens over 4 months)
Micro-chipped
Vaccinated
Come with four weeks free insurance with Pet Plan
Fully flea and worm treated
**If you are rehoming more than one cat from us there will be a reduced fee**

Cats Protection asks adopters for a fee when rehoming a cat. If you feel able to make a donation on top of the fee that would, of course, be gratefully received. We know times are hard so thank you for your decision to rehome a CP cat

We are funded entirely by public donations.
