How you can help

Adopt via our Direct Homing Scheme

Where we are unable to take in a cat that needs a new home, we try to help through our Direct Homing Scheme. We will feature the cat on our web site while the cat stays with its current owner and they continue to be responsible for its health and welfare. We can make no claim to accurate knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, or whether it is neutered, etc.

It is up to the potential adopter to liaise directly with the current owner to decide if the cat is suited to its possible new home. South Birmingham Branch can give no guarantees to owner or adopter. The Branch charges no fee for the Direct Homing Service.

Calvin & Hobbes - Tabby and Tabby & White males
Calvin and Hobbes have lived together since they were six weeks and are now 9 years old. Changes in
their family’s circumstances, plus problems associated with an aggressive unneutered local male cat, mean that they are looking for a new home, preferably together. Both are independent outdoor cats and are very affectionate. Their current family say they are brilliant with their three children and have never been known to scratch or bite. Calvin and Hobbes are seeking a new family through our direct homing scheme. If you can help either, but preferably both, please ring their owners direct 0121 458 2437.

Archie - Ginger Tom - Direct Homing
Archie is a five years old, ginger Tom, neutered and vaccinated. He would suit a family with older children or a child-free household. He is a cat who likes his own space and currently has access to go out side whenever he wants. If you can give Archie a new home, please call his owners in Harborne, direct on 0121 427 1667
