How you can help

You are here: Home > Adopt a cat

Adopt a cat

Your prospective cat will have received the very best standard of love and care whilst they were with us, so when you adopt one of the cats in our care, you can feel safe in the knowledge that he has been given the best possible start to life

Scroll down the page to view our Gallery

There is always a delay between a cat coming into care and appearing on the Gallery, so if you don't see the cat for you please do contact us anyway as we may have a new arrival that fits the bill

By the time your cat or kitten is ready to go to his new home he will have been:
  • Fully examined by a veterinary surgeon
  • Vaccinated at least once against flue and enteritis
  • Treated against fleas, tapeworm and roundworm
  • Neutered if old enough
  • Microchipped
  • He will also come with four weeks Petplan insurance cover, which you may choose to continue, giving invaluable peace of mind and reassurance as you and your cat embark on this lifelong friendship

Previously we asked for a donation from all adopters. This has now become a set Adoption Fee of forty pounds. This is very much needed to help us meet our vet bills and general costs of looking after the cats whilst in our care, and will enable us as a charity to help more cats in the future

Double Delight!
What could be better than giving a loving home to a cat? The only thing we can think would be to give a home to two cats! A lot of cats in need of a new home are lifelong friends that would be happier staying together. When this is the case it will be highlighted in their profiles

In Praise of Older Cats
If you are thinking of giving a cat a home do consider the gentle and loving older cats that need a second chance for a happy home. Read about the benefits of adopting a golden oldie

FOSTERERS NEEDED - including short-term emergency fosterers. We are looking for people who would be willing to foster a cat whilst we are waiting for it to be rehomed. Please
