What we do

  • In Kent, Swale branch of Cats Protection cares for unwanted and stray cats and kittens until a suitable home is found, giving the cats a second chance of happiness.

  • All our cats are treated for fleas & worms, vaccinated and neutered.  We are also microchipping all of our cats.  Home checks are carried out for every cat and kitten to ensure a purrfect match.

  • We encourage neutering of cats of all ages to help control the growing cat population. A voucher scheme is available - call us for more information.

  • Swale Branch is run entirely by unpaid volunteers who are dedicated to making the lives of cats and kittens in our area better, please only contact the volunteers on the advertised phone number.  Our website is updated regularly to make sure we provide up to date information on our cats and Branch activities.

  • Leaflets are available for advice on a range of cat topics, including cat care, moving house with your cat, and choosing your new cat. Click here for more information

  • A 'Lost and Found' cat register is recorded at the Branch  to help reunite cats with their owners.  Please contact us if you have lost or found a cat.

  • During 2010 we re-homed 91 cats and carried out 98 home visits.
