Adopt a cat

Each year we take in and find new homes for many cats and kittens.  They can be handed into us for a variety of reasons including stray cats, unwanted kittens, cats abandoned when their owners move away and cats whose owners have died.  These cats/kittens are cared for by our volunteer fosterers until we find them suitable new homes.  Whilst in our care the cats/kittens will be:

  • Health checked by a vet
  • Neutered (adult cats).  If rehoming a kitten we will provide a voucher to cover the cost of neutering when old enough.
  • Vaccinated
  • Treated for worms and fleas
  • Microchipped

If you are interested in rehoming a cat/kitten from us please telephone: 07880 922158.

Please note that prior to rehoming a cat/kitten from our branch we will carry out a home visit to check the suitability of the home for the cat and vice versa.  On completion of a successful home visit you will then be able to adopt the cat/kitten.  We do ask for a donation when adopting a cat/kitten from us.

Details of some of the cats currently in our care looking for homes are shown below. We are always taking in new cats, so even if you can't see the type of cat you're looking for, it would be a good idea to speak to our Homing Officer to see what the latest situation is.
