Home A Cat

Every year the branch takes in many rescue cats and kittens.  These cats need new homes for many reasons.  Some have been abandoned, are strays or their owners may have had to give them up for a variety of reasons.  Our foster homes are ALWAYS full which gives you an indication of how important it is to continue our neutering/spaying campaign and finding the right home for all our cats.  Whether a new kitten or a cat in their twilight years it is our commitment to find the right home they all truly deserve.  We have strict guidelines when homing cat and kittens.  The home of each prospective owner is visited by one of our homing officers.  Our home checkers aren’t coming to check for dust or tidiness!!  Home checks are vital to assess what type of cat would settle best in a particular home.  It is also an excellent opportunity for prospective owners to discuss any concerns they have about adopting a cat or kitten and provide support.

Can I have a home with you?

Trafford Cats Protection covers the following postcodes:

We hope to update these pages as often as possible with more photographs.  However we cannot guarantee that the cats featured have not been adopted by the time you contact us but we can guarantee we will have many cats who would love a new home.

If you would like to offer a home to a cat(s) or kitten(s) please ring  our Homing Officer at Trafford Cats Protection on 0161 610 2189 (Answerphone).  It would be helpful to us if you leave your details including address and phone number.

Trafford Cats Protection asks adopters for a fee of £25.00 when rehoming a cat. If you feel able to make a donation on top of the fee that would, of course, be gratefully received. We know times are hard so thank you for your decision to rehome a CP cat!
