Golden oldies

Here at Cats Protection we always have golden oldies waiting for a loving new home. These cats are usually here through no fault of there own and still have plenty of love to offer a new owner.

Golden oldies are usually very loving as they are used to living a home environment and recieving lots of attention from their previous owner. In the shelter they do not get the attention they are used to and often become deppressed and are desperate for a fuss. Even though these cats are in their twilight years they still enjoy regular play sessions.

Cats regularly live into their 20's so a cat of 10 years or over may only be half way through their lives. Golden oldies still have lots to offer a potential new family, please do not dismiss these cats purely on age.
