Miles for Moggies is back this May! Sign up today and join in with cat lovers across the UK to achieve something amazing for moggies.
Choose from a 5k, 10k, half marathon or marathon run and on completion you'll be rewarded with an awesome medal. Why not go the extra mile for cats and get sponsored for your challenge too?
Cats Protection Miles for Moggies is a virtual running challenge. It is open to everyone to take part, whether you're a keen runner or challenging yourself to your first 5k.
You can decide which challenge would best suit you! There are four distances to choose from:
Registrations are open now for this year's challenge. You can choose your own date in May for your run, or you can join us for our virtual race weekend from Saturday 25 to Monday 27 May to run ‘together’!
Anywhere in the world! This challenge doesn't have a set location, so you can complete your run local to you or at a destination of your choice.
It costs £20 to sign up, which includes your medal, and this will support our work to make sure every cat finds a loving home. You can also set up a JustGiving page and fundraise for your challenge, meaning your miles will make an even bigger impact on the cats that need our help.
Absolutely! You can buy a brand-new purple Cats Protection tech t-shirt to wear with pride during your challenge. The t-shirts cost £18 and you can choose to add a t-shirt as an option on the registration form. The t-shirt size guide can be found here.
You’ll feel amazing inside and out as you conquer your Miles for Moggies run. Miles for Moggies will encourage you to tackle a new personal challenge to benefit both your physical and mental health, and all the while you’ll know that your efforts are helping to make a better life for cats.
Without your support, the teams at our 34 centres and around 200 branches simply wouldn’t be able to provide the incredible level of care they do on a daily basis for cats in need of our help.
You can choose any local Cats Protection branch or centre to receive 100% of your registration fee and the funds you raise from your challenge, helping the cats in your area.
