Things in life aren't always black and white, but one thing is clear:  there are a few black and white cats who've been at Axhayes far too long!  Please call 01395 232377 for more details.

Like a fine wine Pheasant is a little reserved. She is perfect with other cats and loves to play a lot! She has never known the love and attention of a caring family so will take a little while to get used to a home environment. She is the most wonderful girl with a lot of character and deserves a better life! Can you give her the time, comfort and stability she is looking forward to? You will in return get the best friend in the world!

Jerry's story...by Jerry
"I was found near a motorway service station cowering in a hedge with my brothers and sisters but we can't remember how we got there. The girls here think we were just abandoned. We are lovely but it was quite scary being trapped and then bought here, although we are very grateful for the warm bed and regular meals. It's nice enough here but I would love a home with a nice garden and a loving family to pamper me and make me feel wanted and special. I would like a feline friend in my new home so if your cat is looking for a friend......... I'm purrfect!"

Salander is a darling boy with a very gentle nature, who loves having his ears tickled.  He had been straying for a long time, but loves his creature comforts and has clearly been someone's companion at some stage.  Sadly, Salander has been overlooked and has been at the Centre for nine months now.  We don't know why this should be, as he is very sweet and even does a party trick of spinning round and round for a biscuit!  All he wants is a new home and family where he will be loved and cared for, in a safe area as he is not used to traffic.  Please make his day and take him home.

"Life in a pen is not for me!" Please help some of our more depressed cats:

Jenny
My owners moved away and just left me out in the cold to fend for myself. Thank goodness not everybody is so heartless, at least someone took pity on me and bought me here. I'm very sweet and as you can see very beautiful. All I want is a home and a family to love me. I deserve that much don't I? Please show me that people can be kind and loving, I don't ask for much and I have so much to give. Take me home and make me happy again.

I'm a big girl with a big heart! I'm here as my owner got sick and couldn't look after me anymore. As you can see I'm somewhat overweight but I'm gorgeous and loving. I need a strict diet and lots of exercise to get back to my former trim self but being in the right home will make all the difference. I really won't be a bother to anyone and I desperately need a second chance, so please don't be put off by my girth, it's the size of my heart that counts.
