Frankie

Hi,
We had Frankie from you in the middle of September, sorry this has taken so long! A few days after bringing Frankie home we acquired a 7 month old male kitten from our daughter, she was having problems as our young granddaughter was treating it like a toy and it was clearly unhappy. Frankie and Parsley were wary for a couple of days but have since become good friends. Although Frankie can get a bit fed up with Parsley's boisterous behaviour he will give as good as he gets, a mad chase through the house is the usual conclusion. When we first let Frankie out he didn't return for almost 24 hours and we were very worried as to his whereabouts, he then just returned and came through the door like nothing had happened! This happened every time with the length of time gradually diminishing; after about a week this behaviour ceased and now he goes out when he needs to but always returns immediately, usually to snuggle up on a cushion. He is now a very affectionate cat who loves to be stroked, if you stop he will push your hand with his nose to remind you to carry on. He is very much a lap cat when he gets the chance and both cats prefer my husbands lap, they will contort their bodies into all sorts of shapes in order to be able to squeeze into the available space. As he looks so much like our old cat we do tend to call him Macy most of the time and this is what he responds to, although we haven't officially changed his name on any records as yet.

Many thanks,
Debbie & Andy Johnson, Ilfracombe.
