What’s coming in 2017?

As always, there are two main sides to our activity. Firstly, for the rehoming side we hope to again grow our pool of fosterers this year after having two new fosterers join us last year.  If you know anyone who might like to be a fosterer, either indoor or outdoor, please ask them to email Ann Walsh on adoptacat-basingtoke@hotmail.co.uk.  We also plan to run more of our ‘Neuter your Cat for £5’ campaigns - watch our website and Facebook page where we'll publish dates and venues when known.

On the fundraising side, we'll continue to hold our four fairs - Spring and Autumn in Tadley, Summer and Christmas in Basingstoke. We’re always looking at ways to refresh our fairs and keep the format fresh so if you haven't been for a while please pop in and see what's happening. Dates are always advertised locally as well as here, on our facebook page and in the BAsingtoke Gaette. In addition, we’re concentrating on tin collections and other fundraising activities. We’re also continuing to promote the Cat Lottery and Cat Sponsorship Scheme to help branch funds.  Our Treasurer, Anne Taylor, is organising a sponsored walk this year – you can read more about this on this site.  If you'd like to get involved with our fundraising activiites, please email Gayna at basingtoke-cats@hotmail.co.uk.

Overall we continue to have great support from our volunteers, members and the general public, which is just as well as there are always cats needing our help to find new homes!  Thanks to you all for supporting us, it enables us to do what we do!
