During this year's National Pet Month, fun event days were held at the Bath Pet Centre stores in Lower Borough Walls and Larkhall.  Cats  Protection was one of the beneficiaries.  A car boot sale on Easter Monday made L79, and another on May Bank Holiday L117.  Our stall at Bristol Cat Society Show raised L113, a better result than last year,

Ashman Jones, the London Road vets, held an Open Day which we were invited to attend, and we made L23;  this also enabled visitors to ask us about the work of Cats Protection.  We raised L294 at Bradford on Avon Street Fair, again an improved result.  The Fair was well attended this year, and visitors made the most of a fine day!  We also had a stall at Bath Flea Markt, a new event this year, and this raised L201 for Cats Protection.  More Flea Markets may be held in the future.  In the end the Holburne Museum Summer Fair was not, after all, held this year, and at present we are not sure whether it will take place again.

At the Bath Charities Fair we made L333, plus L177 as our share of the raffle.  Congratulations to the following prizewinners:

Mrs. M. Everett   -   Buffet lunch for 4 with the Mayor

Mrs. R. Gullis      -   Marks and Spencer voucher

Mrs. E. Butcher   -   Jewellery.
