Support us

Introduction
It is a sad fact of life that, in order to help the many cats who need our care, we need money. It is a constant struggle, but with the help of our supporters, somehow we manage, although naturally, the more money we raise, the more cats we can help. Please consider helping us help the cats, using one or more of the methods below.

Membership
We are always happy to welcome new members, who can be as active or inactive as they like. The membership fee not only helps local cats, but also entitles you to four copies of our quarterly magazine, The Catalyst, which will help keep you up to date with what we are doing and how you can help. Email us at helpline@bedford.cats.org.uk to find out how to become a member.

Annual membership runs from 1st January and the cost is as follows:
Junior (Under 17) / Unemployed / Senior Citizen - £5
Single - £10
Family - £15

CP Lottery
The Cats Protection lottery is an excellent way to support the branch and you may even win one of our great prizes! More information is available here

While Shopping
You can now support us while shopping online, simply register to easy fundraising and you could raise money for cats while doing your weekly online shop, at Christmas or even when booking your holiday. And it costs you nothing! Find out more here

In your will
By leaving a gift in your will you can help change the lives of thousands of cats and kittens for years to come. Without the kindness of people who remember Cats Protection in their wills we would not be the charity we are today; these special gifts fund more than half of everything we do. Find out more here

Cat Food
Donations do not only have to be financial - we always welcome unopened cat food, such as food which perhaps your own cat does not like. Prescription food is particularly welcome, because we do need this for some of the cats in our care, but it is expensive.

Please contact us for more information, or simply drop the food off at our shop at the Springfield Centre, Orchard Street, Kempston.

Running
If you are running in any road races, such as the London Marathon, and would like to run on our behalf, please contact us.

Make a Donation
Your donations, no matter how large or small, will make a huge difference to the lives of the unwanted cats in our care. Without you we simply wouldn't be able to continue with our valuable work. Thank you for your support.
