Valentine's Day Event 2012





Was very successful this year, with many people arriving arm-in-arm, to spread their love amongst the cats in our care.












They were greeted at reception by flaming red hearts splattered to every available surface;
















the desk, the collection tins,













even the cabinet of cat-oriented nik-naks,















or the cat-care leaflet holders did not escape decoration.






















Our staff had meticulously baked a basketful of heart-shaped cookies for our visitors to buy,















each one adorned with the names of our cats on them, all to raise money for our worthy cause.





















Our homing corridor was festooned with more hanging hearts,






























lovingly crafted by our dedicated staff members,
















with each cat pen having their own cookie next to it.





















"You get a free cookie with every cat adopted", we joked.  


























And right at the end, we had a "Tunnel of Love" for any amorous couple to take advantage of...













A very pleasant and fruitful weekend was had by all, especially the cats, who, due to the generosity of our visitors have recived in excess of £80 just from the sale of our cookies.  Thank you so much, having proved once again that love conquers all shapes and sizes.
