An enormously massive THANK YOU must go out to MARS Petfood (a part of MARS confectionery), who, through their Charitable Feeding Assistance Programme have donated a staggering amount of catfood to Cats Protection recently. 
    Liz Spooner - co-ordinator of Reading (East) Wokingham and Bracknell Branch - was delighted that one of her members had managed to organise a donation of food. 
    An extraordinary 2000 tins of slightly outdated "Cleo" tinned catfood was received, that filled the Reading branch to overflowing - and the remainder had to go to Stoke &   Newcastle Branch. 
    Another stupendous load of "Whiskas" pouches was picked up, over three trips, by our own Birmingham Adoption Centre, who are also now drowning in the stuff. 

All in all, over a whopping 2.5 tonnes of delicious food has been gratefully received by Cats Protection cats.
