Birmingham stray Freddie has well and truly landed on his feet after joining the team at The National Trust’s Packwood House in leafy Warwickshire. His new “Downtown Abbey” style role as Chief Mouser is in the beautiful grounds of the 16th century home.
Freddie was brought into the Birmingham Adoption Centre after roaming as a stray for many months. He required emergency dental work and of course, obligatory neutering however throughout his stay, it was obvious this friendly rogue was destined for better things. After a clean bill of health from the CP Dentist, it wasn’t long before this loveable lad stole the hearts of visiting National Trust staff and he was soon fulfilling his role as the meet and greet cat in the stunning National Trust property.
So, the next time, you spend a day visiting the gardens of Packwood House, you may come across a rather friendly feline. If so, say hello to Freddie as he is a very special lad indeed.
