Our October Neutering Campaign was hailed as a big success by our Fundraiser and the organiser of the campaign, Marilyn.
During the month of October Marilyn issued 113 vouchers to people on lower incomes to help with the cost of neutering and thus prevent the arrival of many unwanted kittens.
Under the scheme 50 male and 63 female cats were taken to the vets for treatment.
The neutering of all cats not required for breeding is essential if we are to maintain a reasonable number of cats and prevent the terrible results of having of too many feral and unwanted cats and kittens. Well done to everyone who took the responsible approach to cat ownership.
