Can you give a cat in need, a loving home?

The St Ives, Chatteris & District branch of Cats Protection has many cats looking for new homes.

Some of the cats arrive at the branch as strays; others are unwanted or simply abandoned.  Many cats come from loving owners who, due to a change in circumstance, are unable to care for them any longer.  When a cat comes into the charity it is seen at least twice by a vet, neutered, micro-chipped and treated for fleas & worms, and, if necessary, given a blood test.  An adoption fee of £55 is payable as a contribution to the veterinary costs.

The welfare of the cats is our top priority and the branch always visits prospective adopters first to make sure of the best possible home.

Cats Protection never put a healthy cat to sleep.

If you can offer a home to any of the cats or want to volunteer to help the branch please call (01480) 465226.
