Lost and Found

If you have a lost or found cat to report in the Cherwell area, please call our helpline or email us.  You will need to provide as much detail as possible and it would also help if you are able to supply us with a digital photograph. Send to: themurdybird@aol.com
Cats by nature are inquisitive and many have a tendency to wander, so sometimes it can be difficult to determine whether they are a stray or not. To help establish whether a found cat has owner(s) elsewhere we can provide a Cats Protection collar with our branch number on for the owner to contact us.  This is a paper collar so is perfectly safe (it will tear off should the cat get caught on anything) and will eventually come off naturally.  To obtain one of these collars please contact the helpline.
Please also get your cat microchipped. Every cat that comes into our care is scanned, and very few are found to have a chip.

LOST
Kitty was in a house with a fosterer for a few months and has proved to be a loving, playful girl. She is still very shy with strangers as she lives quietly but given time her true colours come to the fore. She is very affectionate and is just loving learning to be a relaxed, playful cat. She had kittens very early so missed out on her own kittenhood. She is about two years old and has been spayed, chipped and vaccinated. She is a very pretty girl and keeps herself immaculate.
She was adopted on Friday 27th January by a lady in Barlow Rd, Wendover but went missing the following day. She is so very timid and scared that there is no way she will approach anyone.  Sadly, our only hope is that she is so weak that she can't run away and someone finds her before it is too late.
If you do know anything of her whereabouts please contct us on 07716 596212.
