What we do

Our Branch covers the following postcode areas;
LL17 - 19, LL32, LL24 to 34

Shared with Wrexham Branch LL15, 16 and 21.

At Colwyn & District we are a dedicated group of volunteers

A cats welfare is our priority therefore our aim is to;

  • Rescue rehabilitate and rehome vulnerable cats & kittens.
  • Encourage neutering of all cats & kittens not required for breeding
  • Inform & advise the public on cat care.

    We do not have a shelter but rely on volunteer fosterers to care for the cats either in an outdoor heated pen or in a spare room, these foster places are limited, and we have to explain to the public that we have a waiting list and cannot usually help immediately.
    Non Domestic cats (Feral) play a big role in our work, due to the many farms and smallholdings in our area.These are trapped neutered and returned or resited.

    We have a Lost & Found database.
