Cat Care Volunteer
Cats Protection helps thousands of cats across the UK each year thanks to our network of dedicated volunteers. As a cat care volunteer you will be directly helping cats and kittens in our care; providing them with hands on care and attention you will play an important role in keeping the cats happy and healthy until they are ready for a new start in a loving and caring home.

Adoption Centre ‘Green Fingers’ Volunteer (External cat pens)
Using your skills and passion for ‘all things green’ will help make our Adoption Centres welcoming, not only to the general public but also to wildlife, greatly enriching the lives of our cats whilst in care. Looking out onto gardens, plants and pots our cats can spend their days watching bees, birds, butterflies and other insects while they wait for their forever home.

Cats in our care rely on generous donations from people who love cats and count on volunteers like you to make those donations happen. Working alongside a team of friendly, enthusiastic volunteers, you will play a key part in raising money and awareness through local fundraising events and activities.

DIY Volunteer
Our Adoption Centres, shops and branches are busy not just for our cats but for our staff, volunteers and the general public. Your DIY skills will be put to great use helping to keep our centres, shops and branches safe, maintained and welcoming – helping us to focus on the care and attention of cats in care.
