Simba, Bella and Oreo in their new home

Bella

Bella was aged around 7 after being found as a stray in Great Yarmouth. She was the first cat we saw and instantly fell in love with her and her little ginger moustache! She joined us after many months of being kindly cared for in isolation at the Dereham Cats Protection League.
The long wait was definitely worth it and she quickly settled into her new home. She is always looking for fuss and attention, and quickly learned “yum yum time!” as her call for dinner – always followed by lots of loud meowing! She also didn’t take long to start doing tricks for treats!

About six months later the time came to get Bella some company.

Simba and Oreo
(formerly Jag and Clements K4)

Simba and Oreo were both shy at first (both aged around 14 weeks), but their cute little faces drew us in and before we knew it they joined Bella and us in our home. Both quickly became confident and soon started eating everything they could find, and running around causing destruction (carpets clawed, bins upturned and things knocked over) but are always forgiven after a bit of fuss and cuddles! Although from different litters, they are proper little brothers who often sleep together and groom each other. Slowly they were introduced to Bella, and although unsure at the start, she soon accepted them (especially when food was involved).
Now all three regularly trip us up give us a loud chorus of meowing when “yum yum time” or “biscuit time” is mentioned! With the aid of a kitten lead (which they weren’t too impressed with!), they have learned to embrace the outdoors – Bella happily sits in the grass while the kittens tear around the garden!

We were so pleased to give these wonderful cats a home and would like to thank everyone at the Dereham Cats Protection League for bringing them into our lives!
