Give a black or black and white cat a chance!

Did you know that solid black and black and white kittens/cats are the hardest to home?  They are often overlooked for 'prettier' cats and end up growing older in foster care. 

I have my own black cat who I adopted from Cats Protection about three years ago.  On that day there was also a beautiful silver tabby looking for a home but something told me that this little guy needed me.  Jupiter grew from a scruffy little kitten into a beautiful, big black cat with a massive personality. It's thanks to him that I decided to foster for Cats Protection and edit this website.

These cats may be seen as common to look at but once you bring one into your home you realise how special they are and how different they all are!
