Thinking of Volunteering?
Home visitors urgently required.
We are finding requests to adopt from right across our area but we are losing
some interested parties because we just can't get there quick enough. Also the
high price of petrol means covering longer distances is substantially increasing
our expenses - requiring extra fundraising.
To be a home visitor you need some knowledge of cat
ownership (although training would be given) and your own transport. A home visitor
could do as much or as little as they wished, fitting in with their existing
commitments. Ideally they would cover their local area that they have knowledge of
so they would be aware of dangerous roads etc. A small mileage allowance is
paid.
