Lost and Found

If you have lost or found a cat please email us a LOW RESOLUTION photograph to downham@cats.org.uk or post to the adoption centre. Please also include the following details so we can try and reunite cats with their owners.

For Lost Cats:

  • Your cat's name
  • Your cat's sex
  • Your cat's age
  • Is your cat neutered?
  • Any distincitive markings or features?
  • Was your cat wearing a collar and/or microchipped?
  • How long has your cat been missing?
  • The address the cat has gone missing from (inc. postcode).
  • Your name & telephone number.

Please can you also indicate whether you are happy to have your phone number published on the website, alongside your cat's details. If you do not indicate, we will assume you do not give us permission and the public will be asked to contact the adoption centre.

For Found Cats:

  • The cat's colour
  • The cat's sex (if known)
  • Any distinctive markings or features.
  • The addresss where the cat has been found (inc. postcode if possible)?
  • How long has the cat been around?
  • Who have you enquired with (e.g. neighbours, milkman, postman)?
  • Have you put up any posters locally?
  • Your name & telephone number.

Please can you also indicate whether you are happy to have your phone number published on the website, alongside the cat's details. If you do not indicate, we will assume you do not give us permission and the public will be asked to contact the adoption centre.
