In 14 years of volunteering with Cats Protection this is the worst crisis we have had to face. The current economic situation has led so many people to want to give up their cats. We are finding it harder and harder to home the lovely cats we have in care. On top of this fundraising is very tough. Our fantastic helpline volunteer finds it incredibly upsetting to turn away so many heart breaking cases.
