The Friends of Eastbourne Adoption Centre had a wonderful day raising funds for Cats Protections Eastbourne Adoption Centre by having a sponsored tree walk. “We were all very nervous to start our tree walk at the ‘Go-ape’ activity centre at Bedgebury Pinetum in Kent, however we overcame our nerves and after having our training session we were all harnessed up and set to start climbing the very tall pine trees. 11 brave volunteers accomplished this task in about 2 to 3 hrs and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful day to enjoy.” “Sponsor money is still coming in but at the moment we have managed to raise £330 which is fantastic and will go towards caring for the cats and kittens at the Eastbourne Adoption Centre” said Vicki Kemp organiser of this event.
