What we do

Our branch of Cats Protection was started up in 1996 and we've been assisting abandoned, ill and abused cats in the area since. Although we are primarily a rural branch we do help a wide variety of needy cats; from urban strays through to farm ferals and just about everything in between.

We typically take in and rehome around 300 cats a year, provide help and advice with neutering and other cat welfare issues as well as running various events throughout the year to raise funds for the branch and to generate awareness of the work that we do.

The Ely & District branch of Cats Protection operates mainly in the CB6, CB7 and CB8 postcode areas.
