Neutering

We at Fraserburgh branch pride ourselves in the amount of cats/kittens we neuter or assist in neutering every year.

Over the last couple of years, the town has seen a large increase  in the amount of cats who have contracted FIV.

For example in 2008/9 out of 14 feral cats had to be PTS due to FIV, since then more cases have appeared. One way to assist in combating this disease is through neutering as 99% of the time it is un-neutered males who spread and carry the disease.

Also neutering a female cat, is kinder that letting her have litters of kittens, and there is always the possibility of the kittens being left to breed and so on.

If you would like assistance in having your feline neutered or for any further information please contact us.
